N.b.: Since 2015 at least 150 hotels, hostels, campgrounds, etc. were converted to lodgings for asylum seekers. In some region this resulted in a drastically reduced availability of accommodation for touristic purposes, e.g. in Dalsland, Gästrikland and unfortunately also some parts of northern Sweden.
